This was delicious! Husband and I loved it. Like someone mentioned above I’ve tried numerous Asian dishes on Pinterest and this is the first we liked. My husband even asked that i make it to send him to work with for lunches. I’ll be freezing some for my meal prep and his lunches. Thank you so much.

This dish was absolutely delicious and easy to make. I did not have corn starch or flour so I used instant mash substitute. I also did not have ground ginger or apple cider vinegar so I just left it out. My sauce ended up being a tiny bit thick but so good.

Hi Alicia! That's awesome! Good to know about the instant mash substitute. Ground ginger is optional but adds great flavor. You can use lemon juice in place of apple cider vinegar. Hope this helps!

So I want to make this, but I do not have cornstarch. Anything else I could use?
    Thanks!

You can substitute the cornstarch with flour. You will need 3 tablespoons of flour for every tablespoon of cornstarch. You will also need to heat it in it's own sauce pan and cook it for a bit to get rid of the flour taste.

Super yummy flavor and easy peasy! I used a bag of stir fry veggies since I didn’t have broccoli. The only change I would make is triple the sauce if you like extra sauce to top the rice. . I doubled it and it’s its still not enough. But will absolutely make this again.

I just discovered that I am out of ready-made Teriyaki sauce.
So i tried this recipe. I am surprised how great it is....... I am sure I will never again use ready-made sauce anymore.
My only question: How to make it little more glazey? If we add more sugar, there is a risk of getting too sweet. What other option for this?
    Thank You

Great recipe! I accidentally used dark brown sugar, but it still tasted delish!! I think I am going to switch it up and use green beans or snap peas next time 🙂
