  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Mix well. If you have time, let it sit for 20 minutes. The flavor really infuses the meat that way.
  3. Shape into 8 patties. Use your thumb to indent the center of each patty.
  4. Grill or broil until done to your liking, about 12 minutes.

Assemble the beef patties ahead, separate with parchment paper in a freezer bag, and freeze for up to three months.

Thaw in the refrigerator overnight and then cook as desired.

Store leftover burgers in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge or freeze for up to three months.

Reheat leftover patties in the microwave for one minute or for juicy burgers reheat in a skillet with a small amount of water until warm all the way through.
